Whole-body preservation is cryopreservation of the whole body instead of just the cephalon (head) or brain. Most cryonics patients are whole-body patients. Organizations that conduct whole-body preservations include the Alcor Life Extension Foundation, the Cryonics Institute, KrioRus, and the Shandong Yinfeng Life Science Research Institute.
